弓弦羽神社に七五三詣でに行きました。

We went to Yuzuruha Shrine for Shichigosan.

この七五三詣では園児たちに日本文化を実際に体験してもらおうとのことから実施したもので、２才児クラス以上の８６名が参加しました。子どもたちは９時過ぎに園庭に集合し、２歳児は５歳児と、３歳児は４歳児と手をつないで園を出発、交通安全に気をつけながら歩いておよそ１５分で弓弦羽神社に到着しました。神社では、鳥居で一礼してから手を清め、本殿に上がりました。本殿では神妙に頭を下げてお祓いを受け、代表の３人が神職の方に教えていただきながら玉串拝礼をしました。

For this Shichigosan, 86 children 2years and older went to experience Japanese culture in real life. The children gathered on the playground past 9 am, paired up 2yr olds with 5yr olds, 3yr olds with 4yr olds, and walked for about 15min to Yuzuruha Shrine while being mindful of traffic safety. At the shrine, they bowed at the Torii gate, cleansed their hands, and entered the main shrine. Within the main building, they serenely lowered their heads and received a purification, then three representatives performed a Tamagushi worship directed by the priest.
