2018年10月16日、２歳児クラス・パンダ組の15名が神戸市立王子動物園に遠足に行きました。

On October 16th, 2018 the 15 children in the 2yr olds Panda class went on a field trip to Kobe City Oji Zoo.

園児たちは朝9時に園を徒歩で出発し、阪急御影駅に向かいました。途中、同様に遠足に出かける小学生の団体に出会い、一緒に横断歩道を渡りました。駅に着くと他の園の園児たちも集合しており、電車に乗るとまたまたたくさんの他の園児たち。王子動物園でも多くの小学生や園児を見かけました。曇り気味で暑くはなく、子どもたちにとっては過ごしやすい遠足日よりになりました。

The children departed the school at 9 o’clock and headed to Hankyu Mikage station. On the way, they encountered a group of elementary school students that were also on a field trip and crossed the crosswalk together. As we arrived at the station there were other preschoolers gathered and on the train, there were even more! At Oji Zoo, we also saw many other lementary and preschool students. The weather was cloudy, not hot, and very comfortable for a day out.

パンダ、キリン、象、白熊、ワニ、カバなどたくさんの動物を見、暗くなっているコウモリの部屋では「飛んでいる！」と声を上げていました。パンダのところでは、後ろになってパンダを見ることができない子どもたちは先生たちに交代で抱えられて見せてもらいました。弁当の中にもパンダや子犬、そしてアンパンマンやドキンちゃんも。弁当作りのお母さんたちのはりきった様子が見受けられました。子どもたちは動物園内をあちこち歩きまわって疲れているように見えましたが、頑張って本園まで戻ることができました。

We saw many animals such as a panda, giraffes, elephants, a polar bear, alligators, and hippos. In the dark room with bats, the children said, “They’re flying!” At the panda area, the children that could not see the panda took turns getting carried by the teachers to see. In their lunch boxes were pandas, puppies, and even Anpanman and Dokinchan. Through the lunches, the enthusiasm of their mothers making the lunch can be imagined. Although the children seemed tired from walking around the zoo, they were able to try their best and make it back to the school.
