2018年9月29日、神戸学院大学附属中学校・高等学校体育館にて「第5回運動会」を開催しました。

September 29, 2018 We held our 5th Sports Day at Kobe Gakuin University Jr. High and High School Gymnasium.

当日は、園児、保護者、来賓、職員等あわせて約400人以上が集合し、午前9時20分、５歳児クラスのパラバルーンの演技に続く「開始の言葉」によって運動会が始まりました。

On that day, the number of children, parents, guests and staff totaled over 400 people. At 9:20am following the 5yr olds class parachute routine, the “Opening Words” were announced and Sports Day began.

園児たちは、ハイハイする「あおむし」になり保護者と一緒に運動したり、オレンジ色のプラスチックの上着に銀色に塗ったペットボトルを背負ってレスキュー隊員に扮したり、あるいは竹馬に乗ったり、走り回ったりと、色々な競技で大きな体育館の中を元気に動き回りました。リレーに続き、両手に持った鳴子の音に会場の気分は最高潮に達しました。保護者たちからは、「楽しかったです」との言葉がたくさん寄せられました。

Some children crawled becoming caterpillars and exercised with their parents. Some wore orange uniforms with PET bottles painted silver to become part of a rescue team. While some walked on bamboo stilts and others ran around. The children were able to move around the large gymnasium full of energy for the various competitions. Following the relay, the mood of the gym climaxed with the sound of the naruko. Many parents said that they had an enjoyable time.

会場には各クラスが作った横断幕も飾られました。足型や手型で描いた絵、大きなハートを持ってニコニコしている自画像や大縄跳びをしている絵など、大人には描けない、子どもだからこそ描ける絵に見入っている人もいました。

The venue was also decorated with a banner made by each class. There were banners with pictures made with hand and foot prints, self-portraits of children holding hearts and one with pictures of children jumping a long rope together. There were people looking at these pictures that cannot drawn by adults, but can be drawn this way because they are children.

台風24号が接近していることによる雨天の中ではありましたが、立派な大きな体育館をお借りすることができ、無事、運動会を開催することができました。

Although the weather was rainy due to the approaching Typhoon, we were able to borrow the fine gymnasium and hold Sports Day safely.
